I am home from church today with my sick baby boy, and before you know it, I will be home from church with my new baby girl!! I can't believe we have 1 week to go! Life is so good! I have been able to get so much done over the past month getting ready to bring her home and I don't know if I have ever been so ready. Austin has been amazing with helping me with so much. I am SO grateful for him! I married the most amazing man....gosh I am lucky!
For anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE the movie Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.... most people think I am wierd, but I truly love, love that show. I remember going to see it at the dollar theatre with Austin's family and they all walked out of there thinking that it was the strangest show and I walked out completely inspired and deeply touched... wierd how the same show can affect people in such completely different ways. Well, needless to say, my mom game me the movie last year for Christmas, and it was one of my most treasured presents.... okay, I will get on with the point of my post. I first saw the show about a month or so after Kamberlie passed away, and so many of the quotes in the movie really impacted me and how I knew I should live my life with the situation I was given....
I love the the whole entire show and its message, but there are a few parts that I cherish... I will share them, and they may mean nothing to you without actually seeing the show,or really might not mean anything to you with seeing the show :) -but everytime I watch it- it truly touches my heart.
Mr. Edward Magorium: We must face tomorrow, whatever it may hold, with determination, joy and bravery
Mr. Edward Magorium: I fell so completely in love with these shoes, I bought enough pairs to last my whole lifetime. This is my last pair.
Molly Mahoney: [after they have set all the clocks forward in a shop to strike noon at the same time] Now we wait.
Mr. Edward Magorium: No. We Breathe. We Pulse. We Regenerate. Our hearts beat. Our minds create. Our souls ingest. Thirty-seven seconds, well used, is a lifetime.
Mr. Edward Magorium: [to Molly, about dying] When King Lear dies in Act V, do you know what Shakespeare has written? He's written "He dies." That's all, nothing more. No fanfare, no metaphor, no brilliant final words. The culmination of the most influential work of dramatic literature is "He dies." It takes Shakespeare, a genius, to come up with "He dies." And yet every time I read those two words, I find myself overwhelmed with dysphoria. And I know it's only natural to be sad, but not because of the words "He dies." but because of the life we saw prior to the words. [pause, walks over to Molly]
Mr. Edward Magorium: I've lived all five of my acts, Mahoney, and I am not asking you to be happy that I must go. I'm only asking that you turn the page, continue reading... and let the next story begin. And if anyone asks what became of me, you relate my life in all its wonder, and end it with a simple and modest "He died."
Molly Mahoney: [starting to sob] I love you.
Mr. Edward Magorium: I love you, too. [picks Molly up, sighs heavily]
Mr. Edward Magorium: Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.
"Your life is an occasion. Rise to it." The past 2 1/2 years I find myself repeating this line to myself over and over, along with the quote that my favorite Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin said, "Come What May, and Love It." We are all given challenges, we are all given trials, and it seems that they are all tailored for each and everyone of us and our circumstances. Our Father in Heaven will never give us more than we can bear, although at times ( sometimes lots of times ) it doesn't seem like you can bear one more thing- and somehow you just do. I am grateful for my life and I am grateful for the trials I have been given, I may be more grateful for them in a few more years :) but I know that there is a purpose and a reason for what we are here to do, I just hope I can live up to whatever Heavenly Father has in store for me to do!
It is 2010!! I am so ready for it! :)

Come What May and Love It
Love this!!
I love love love that quote "Come what may, and love it!" As you may know we are in the process of selling our home, if we weren't I would put that in every room on the wall! It is my favorite quote and has been for a while. It is funny that you say you loved that show. I thought it was weird. But I have had that happen with movies and I cry and think are amazing and I tell people and they think that I have lost it! I think the lord allows us all to be touched differently.
